One Dream at a Time. The Life of a Simple Wife.

07.12.09 - Despite being in the midst of moving, I've been reading a lot this week. It probably has something to do with not being able to write or craft. Reading is part of my creative fuel. Because of the moving, I did return almost all the library books, mostly out of fear that they'd end up in box and get lost. This means that until I can complete this move and get them back from the library, I have several books on hold. Not really an issue.

So. Updated the reading page and we're moving. Yay.

06.26.09 - Wow. I just let things sit for over a year. I suck.

So, anyway. Updates.

I ripped out a couple of pages until I can get them updated. I archived the 2008 reading log (such as it was) to here. The 2009 reading log (which begins in July) is now at the link on the side of the page. I have no idea what I read during the first half of the year. I don't think it matters at this point.

Um. I think that's about it. Maybe not, but I'm too tired to think, let alone keep working on this.

05.13.08 - Happy birthday husband!

Also, I added a playlist.

02.10.08 - Happy New Year?

Life has been a little nuts with the chaos surrounding the apartment we live in and the holidays and so forth and so on. I guess you could say I got distracted by life. But I'm back. Sort of.

Updates.

I updated the 2008 reading list, and moved the 2007 reading list to its own page. Consider it archived.

I altered the photo page a bit, and added a link to Chele Shot, my 2008 Photo-A-Day project.

I did some behind the scenes tweaking and worked on fleshing out some areas that still aren't ready for publication yet.

I think that's about all I did. There's more I want to do, but it's getting late and I'm tired.

09.06.07 - For the past two weeks my family has been living on some level of Hell that I don't remember reading about in Dante's Inferno. Basically, the apartment management has decided to rebuild the apartment around us and it's nothing short of torture. I won't go into the details because living through it is hard enough, rehashing it will send me into sobbing fits of tears because my last nerve is truly being strained beyond its limits.

So. Updates. While waiting for worker-type men to show up and wreak havoc on my life, I updated a few pages. It started out as just the reading list, but expanded into an update of the 101 Things in 1001 Days List and the 101 Things in 1001 Days Progress pages, where I put most everything that was in progress on hold because... yeah... hard to do anything when your life is being tromped on by big dirty men with mud and crap all over their boots.

And that's about it for me.

07.05.07 - Just updating the reading list this time. I have been rather busy with life and haven't had the time to focus on my site lately. I guess I need to tweak up my schedule some so that I can spend a few hours a week poking at this thing. At the very least, I need to update the reading list more regularly.

Also on the reading list, I added links to the authors' web sites if I could find them.

That's it for me. I have summer fun that needs tending to.

05.18.07 - Finally got the cooking page up. My four week menu planner has been tweaked up so that I can offer it for download to those interested. It's available in both .doc and .pdf formats. There's still more to do on that page, but at least it's started.

Also added "daughter" to my occupation on the about me:the basics page because my mother pointed out that I've been a daughter for far longer than I've been a wife or mother.

Updated my reading list because even though I've had pink eye and haven't been able to do much computer work over the past two weeks or so, reading text print hasn't been much of a problem. When I can focus on the words.

I also altered the layout theme a bit. I thought it was too dark before so I toned down the color to a lighter shade of greyish green. Hopefully it won't appear too washed out on monitors that aren't mine. If it does appear to be too faded/washed out, please contact me and let me know. I'm interested in that sort of feedback. Thank you, in advance.

04.12.07 - Tweaked the 101 Things in 1001 Days List and the 101 Things in 1001 Days Progress pages. Tweaked the reading list a bit, too. That's all I have time for tonight.

04.11.07 - Updated some coding, added a book to the reading list, and changed a bit of the credits page.

If you're keeping up with my journal then you know I'm knee deep in an orgranizational challenge right now so there's not a lot of web time for me, even for blogging! More updates will be coming, though. It'll just take a bit of time until I get everything organized.

03.28.07 - Acquired space, updated all (I think) the links, and moved everything over to the new space. I didn't check everything thoroughly but it looks like everything is fine. Still tweaking a few things, but mostly it all looks good.

*********

03.25.07 - Added a email subscription box to the list of links on the left that may or may not actually work so that should anyone be interested, they (maybe) can get emailed whenever I make updates to the site.

*********

03.24.07 - Added the photography page. Also, after seven long years, I have finally decided on a domain name. Not only have I decided on a domain name, but I have also acquired it. More news on that later, as things progress. It will take some time for me to set up space then set everything up over there.

03.21.07 - There have been quite a few changes in my life in the past few months and as a result I was looking for a new look for this site.

Here it is.

There are a lot of changes still to come, and as I have the time things will be updated. It may will take some time because my primary focus isn't updating this site but tending to my life. The truth is that I wanted to wait until all the pages were made before I uploaded anything, but decided that I couldn't do that. I had to see the dream come to life before it faded into nothingness. It needed to be a work in progress rather than a dream never realized.
