Somewhere just after the middle of June 2007 I discovered a Virtual Tour Across America. The route is 4063 miles long. Progress is an on and off again thing, depending on how swollen and stiff my knee is, and in 2007 I failed miserably. I think I actually totaled 37 miles. Life happens.

So once again I'm undertaking the goal of riding 1000 miles on the exercise bike in one year. I truly don't expect to ride every day in 2008, but you never know. Maybe towards the middle art for the year I'll manage that. Or maybe I'll be sitting on my butt with my knee packed in ice again.
